‘One of the best walls ever’ painted in Bristol

October 18, 20242 Mins Read

“This is one of the best walls I have ever seen,” said Bristol graffiti artist Inkie with a can of Thatchers Gold in his hand on Friday afternoon.

It wasn’t just the cider talking: this wall in Eastville is an epic piece of work.

Just a stone’s throw from Ikea, Goldie has brought together artists from across the world to paint a huge mural to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his drum’n’bass label, Metalheadz.

Inkie is not the only Bristol artist who took part in the painting, with 3Dom, Cheo, Jody and Soker also joining the fun.

Other artists included Dibz, Fanakapan, Mode 2 and Soda, as well as Tats Cru from New York whose mural from See No Evil in 2011 remains above Quay Street Diner.

Look out too for some familiar sites including the Clifton Observatory and the Suspension Bridge.
