AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Dove Creek Equine Rescue’s fundraising art auction kicks off online this Wednesday.

The public can bid on their favorite pieces starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday on Dove Creek’s website.

The nonprofit’s Unbridled Art Auction aims to celebrate the beauty and spirit of horses and will benefit the nonprofit’s mission.

“By participating, artists aren’t just showcasing their art; they are supporting a vital cause that offers healing and hope to both horses and humans alike,” said Laurie Higgins-Kerley, Dove Creek Executive Director.

Along with the auction, Dove Creek will also host a VIP cocktail event Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Arts in the Sunset, 3701 Plains Blvd.

Organizers say guests can view and bid on art pieces, enjoy entertainment and more.

Tickets for the VIP event are $35 in advance and $40 at the door, organizers say.

The auction will close at 8 p.m. Friday, April 26.
