“Community Support Advocates, the organization behind Momentum, believes in the transformative power of art. Art is a tool that can build confidence, inspire hope, and develop resilience. Often individuals with disabilities see art as inaccessible to them due to a lack of money for art supplies, knowledge or confidence, or the lack of a safe space to create.
CSA’s Momentum program provides a studio space for individuals with disabilities and mental health conditions in Mainframe Studios. The studio is filled with art supplies of all mediums where individuals can come and learn new skills, make new friends, and heal and grow through the artistic process. Momentum offers art instruction, workshops and classes, mentorship, and exhibition opportunities throughout the year.”
This event is free to attend and open to all ages, and no registration is necessary.
