The mood has damped over the art market in the past few months, as recent sales reports crystallise into the bleakest picture since the pandemic. But the show must go on for the 60,000 guests expected this week to attend Frieze London, the O.G. location of the art fair that now crosses New York, Los Angeles and Seoul. Actors, painters, fashion designers and sculptors once again descended in droves for the opening day at Regent’s Park.
