Visakhapatnam: The Alluri Sitharama Raju National Youth Association is setting up a permanent exhibition of exquisite paintings related to revolutionary freedom fighter Alluri Sitharama Raju in the auditorium of the Alluri Memorial Park in KD Peta. The exhibition, named “Alluri Chitrakala Mandir,” will be inaugurated by assembly speaker Ch Ayyanna Patrudu on July 4.Padala Veerabhadra Rao, founder and president of the Alluri association, said that the exhibition will be an inspiration to the youth and future generations. A team led by Veerabhadra Rao and Madheti Ravi Prakash, founder and general secretary of the Madheti Rajaaji memorial art academy, visited the Alluri Memorial Park to install the paintings.On this occasion, Veerabhadra Rao said that the park had fallen into disrepair due to lack of attention from the YSRCP govt in the last five years. “We hope the park will regain its past glory in the coming years under the TDP rule,” he said.“Ayyanna Patrudu played a key role in securing 30 lakh fund from Anakapalli MP CM Ramesh for the development of the park. CM Ramesh would also be the chief guest at the inaugural function, along with Gajuwaka MLA and TDP state president Palla Srinivas Rao.Ambati Varaha Raju, Palla Bhaskara Mani, Lakkakula Babji, secretaries of the ASR national youth association, and working committee members P.S. Ravikanth and Panchaada Venkataramana will also participate.
