The Saranac Lake Village Improvement Society had its “Keep Saranac Lake Blooming” awards ceremony on Wednesday, honoring people around town who have worked hard to beautify their hometown through plantings and paintings on businesses, homes, sidewalks and parks. A crowd of friends from the Rusty Nail came out to the Saranac Lake Village Improvement Society’s “Keep Saranac Lake Blooming” awards ceremony on Wednesday to support their friends as they were awarded for their work beautifying the town through murals and flowers outside the downtown bar.
