Created by artist Lewis Deeney, the work was previously exhibited atop Ben Nevis after he hiked up there with it.
“Reimagining the rich visual language of our Celtic ancestors,” Deeney breathes new life into ancient Celtic imagery, he says.
His creative process uses a laser cutter to combine expressive abstract painting and vibrant colours with interlacing geometric shapes.
Self-described as “a journey through time, bridging the gap between past and present”, his work offers a “fresh perspective on Scotland’s ancient past”.
The exhibition, which has been funded by Creative Scotland, will be displayed in Fire Station Creative from Friday, July 5 until Sunday, July 28.
