Graffiti honoring attempted assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks has been spray painted on a portion of the skate park located at Langan Park in Mobile.

“R.I.P. Thomas Matthew Crooks” is painted on a skate ramp in black paint, along with other writings, including #BLM and the communist symbol of the hammer and sickle.

Thomas Crooks was shot and killed by Secret Service snipers at a rally for former President Trump after Crooks opened fire from a rooftop, wounding the former President and two others, and killing one rally attendee.

The Mobile Deputy Director of Communications informs NBC 15 that the Mobile Police Department and the Mobile Parks and Recreation Department are aware of the vandalism, and is already working to remove the graffiti. MPD is investigating this as vandalism, and officers will make close patrols around the park today, tonight, and tomorrow.
