Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree expands the game in more ways than you can count. It adds more bosses, more areas, more weapons, and also some additional paintings that can be found around the map. These are collectibles of a sort, displaying an area of the map and tasking you with finding it. Once there, you can get an item.

Here is where you can find those Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree paintings locations and where you need to head to in the Land of Shadow.

‘Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree’ DLC paintings locations

The three Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC paintings locations are:

  • The Sacred Tower painting – Found in Gravesite Plain, northeast of the Scorched Ruins, depicts Enir-Ilim from the Rauh base near the Temple Town Ruins
  • Incursion painting – Found in the Artist’s Shack in Gravesite Plain, depicts entrance of Belurat from the Gravesite Plain lake with the Ghostflame Dragon
  • Domain of Dragons painting – Inside the Shadow Keep, along the ramparts by the moat, depicts the view from the Jagged Peak

The Sacred Tower painting location

The Sacred Tower painting can be found in a small cave just to the northeast of the Scorched Ruins in the large open area at the start of the game.

The location shown in the painting will take a long time to get to. You need to head to the Rauh base, and on the way to the Temple Town Ruins, you will see a Spiritspring leading to the Northern Nameless Mausoleum. At the south end of that cliff with the mausoleum, you can find the spirit in the chair, who will give you the Spialtree Seal.

Incursion painting location

The next painting can be found at the very south of the Cliffroad Terminus area, which is just to the west of Belurat. It is located in a small shack on the top of a cliff at the far south of the area.

The location depicts an area near the Three-Path Cross Site. Head north to the lake with the Ghostflame Dragon and then look towards Belurat. The cliff edge is where you want to turn your attention to find the spirit and the Serpent Crest Shield item.

Domain of Dragons painting location

The last painting in the DLC can be found beneath the Shadow Keep. Make your way through the initial area, before the Speciman Storehouse and after beating the Golden Hippopotamus. Eventually, you will see a large staircase heading downward, leading back to the first Site of Grace.

Instead of going down those stairs, head to the left and down the ladder nearby. Down the ladder, you can go through the waterfall by the moat and down another ladder to find the painting.

To get the Rock Heart reward from this painting, you need to head to the Jagged Peak, specifically the Jagged Peak Mountainside Site of Grace. It is up the hill after Senessax in the cave. Head up the first Spiritspring and then look to your right to find a path beneath you. On the edge, there is the spirit.
