And with the end of Season One fast approaching, it’s time to catch up on one of the easiest Season Goals – Devious Painting Puzzles. The Devious Paintings Puzzles are a series of puzzles scattered across the Island.

How to Solve Devious Painting Puzzles

The Devious Painting Puzzles are extremely easy to solve. Each region has one of the six Puzzles nestled in old ruins. You must first find the location of the ruins. When you get to the ruins, find the artist’s diary waiting for you to read. After reading the diary, use Spacetime (press Q) to make the painting appear. It’s usually just to the right of the diary on an easel. Interact with the painting, making a crate appear. Collect the treasure map from the loot crate. The map marks the location of the treasure with an X, which is located in that region. Compare the treasure map to the region’s map in-game. Then go hunting. The search is the most difficult part of the puzzle.

Treasure Location: The treasure is located just off the beach at coordinates around (6483, -5794).
