WHITEWATER — An artist has donated paintings to a special fundraising raffle for the Whitewater Arts Alliance.
Tom Jewell, who has an exhibit ending this week at the Cultural Arts Center, is putting up three of his paintings to be raffled off to support the alliance.
On Thursday, Aug. 29, the drawing will occur at 3 p.m.
Raffle tickets are $5 each, or $20 for five tickets. Tickets can be purchased at the center, 402 W. Main St., Whitewater.
Those with a winning ticket can choose which of the three donated paintings they want. Winners do not need to be at the drawing to claim their prize.
All proceeds from the raffle directly benefit the alliance, which aims to foster a vibrant and inclusive arts community in Whitewater.
Having been featured in various exhibits and collections, Jewell has received awards in juried art competitions. His paintings can be found in private and corporate collections across Wisconsin and beyond.
