Visual Arts has announced that LUNARiA: Virtualized Moonchild is coming to PC (Steam) on August 30, 2024. The visual novel will have English, Simplified Chinese and Japanese as text options, and it is already available on Switch.

LUNARiA is a kinetic novel that came out in Japan in 2021. It tells the story of a young man called Tabito Kamishiro. In the virtual world of the SkyOut Forever racing game, he’s better known as T-bit.

Talented to the point of being considered a genius, T-bit one day finds out a moon-based server during a network error. In this Lunar World, he meets an AI avatar, Lunar-Q, who hopes to see Earth some day.

Despite her artificial nature, the two become quite attached to each other. Soon they’ll experience an emotional tale alongside other characters such as T-Bit’s friend Con Momosaki, and his self-proclaimed cat-eared rival Myau Myov.

In LUNARiA: Virtualized Moonchild, T-Bit’s voiced by Takahide Ishii while Lunar-Q gets her voice from Minami Tanaka. Con’s seiyuu is Yuki Wakai, and Myau’s is Anna Yamaki. The story comes from Takeshi Matsuyama, while humuyun and Sora Saeki are the illustrators.

The Steam version features high-definition 1080p visuals, the option to change between the three language options, and touch gestures for tablet PC and Steam Deck.
