TUBMAN GALLERY is proud to announce ONE MORE ROAD TO CROSS, a solo exhibition featuring artworks by Justin Jenkins, artist and illustrator from New Jersey practicing in Brooklyn, New York. Jenkins’ practice spans multiple decades and mediums and includes a variety of works on paper, digital illustrations and oil pastel illustrations for publications such as The Atlantic.

ONE MORE ROAD TO CROSS is Jenkins’ first exhibition in the United States and depicts American life from the perspective of a Black Man in constant evolutionary and transitional states. These new works create a greater understanding and appreciation for the dignity of a specific type of person and seek to create commonality between that person and the people of the world.

ONE MORE ROAD TO CROSS opening reception will take place October 18 from 7PM to 10PM & feature an artist talk and Q&A session with our featured artist.
