The front front car park of the gardenc centre near Helston will turn into a creative hub from May 18 to June 2, coinciding with Open Studios Cornwall
The event, held in a large marquee, will put the talents of local artists, Rachel Jeffery and Corey Jordan, on full display between 11am and 5pm daily.
Rachel Jeffery, a British abstract landscape painter based in Breage, will exhibit her abstract landscapes and seascapes.
She is well-regarded for her efforts to challenge viewer perceptions and convey a sense of place.
Ms Jeffery said: “My audience are generally those with an appreciation of abstracted visual art.
“I like to make work that has creative roots drawn from the inspiration of a concept and a sense of a place as opposed to artists who like to copy or replicate landscapes directly”.
She will also be leading exclusive painting workshops on May 21 and 28, offering participants the chance to paint with her guidance.
These workshops, operating from 1.30pm to 4pm, have limited spots and early booking is recommended.
The £39 per person cost includes all necessary materials, tutelage, a snack, a drink, and a memento in the form of the participant-created artwork.
Bookings can be made by emailing jartandgardens@yahoo.co.uk.
Joining her in the marquee is Corey Jordan, a fashion designer based in Cornwall.
Regarded for his unique designs inspired by his Cornish upbringing, Mr Jordan will present his initial line of handmade spring and summer products.
He will also offer bespoke sewing services during the exhibition.
Both artists eagerly anticipate sharing their work with the public.
